Privacy Policy
Last updated 2024-12-10.
This privacy policy overview applies to the Autochords app. See Astrocode Pty Ltd Privacy Policy for the company's broader policy.
Autochords is developed by Astrocode Pty Ltd, owned and operated by a solo developer (👋 hi, I'm Alex).
Here's the quick rundown on Autochords' privacy policy:
- Autochords does not collect personal information without permission.
- It does not use any third-party services that collect user information.
- It does not use any third-party crash reporters, or any third-party analytics services.
- If you send me a support email, it will be retained through my email provider (Fastmail).
- Anonymous usage statistics and diagnostic information may be securely sent to Astrocode's servers as you use the app. This information is used for diagnosing bugs and making informed decisions about new app features. It may be retained for up to 2 years.
Notable changes
- Autochords 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 validated purchases with a third-party service for in-app purchase validation. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. The app did not send any user identifiers to RevenueCat. This integration was removed in version 5.0.0.
